Independence Day 2025 — Celebrating Pride & Unity at MJD & Life Foundation

 


On 15th August 2025, MJD & Life Foundation proudly celebrated India’s 79th Independence Day at our Virar facility. The event brought together our senior members, students, and community well-wishers to honour our nation’s freedom and reflect on the values that unite us.

Chief Guest & Special Guests

We were honoured to welcome Mrs. Rita Sarvaiya, respected Ex-Corporator, as our Chief Guest. Her presence added inspiration and dignity to the occasion.
We were also joined by our esteemed members:

  • Mrs. Zarine Porbandarwala

  • Mr. Mukhtar Damanwala

Their continued support remains a cornerstone of our community work.

Event Highlights



1. Flag Hoisting Ceremony
The celebration began with the hoisting of the tricolour by our Chief Guest, senior member representatives, and Aman Meghani (11th standard student). The moment filled everyone with pride and patriotism.

2. Inspiring Speech
Priyansh Bheriyani (12th standard) delivered a moving speech on the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and the responsibilities we hold as citizens.

3. Patriotic Shayari
Hussain Gori (13th standard) recited a heartfelt patriotic shayari that left the audience inspired and emotional.

4. Hosting the Celebration
The program was smoothly anchored by Amaan Bheriyani (12th standard), whose confident hosting made the event engaging and memorable.
